These terms govern your use of DeepFakeGuard at deepfakeguard.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
DeepFakeGuard analyzes images and videos you submit and produces probabilistic signals about whether media may be AI-generated or manipulated, along with supporting details and reports.
Results are not proof
Results are estimates, not facts. They can be wrong, including false positives (real media flagged) and false negatives (manipulated media not flagged). A result is not proof that media is authentic or manipulated, and it is not legal, forensic or professional advice. You are responsible for how you use results and should not rely on them alone for decisions that could significantly affect any person.
Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
You keep all rights in the media you submit. You give us a limited permission to store and process it solely to provide the service to you. You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that doing so does not violate any law or anyone else's rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit content that is illegal, or that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
- submit media of people in a way that violates their privacy or rights, or that you have no right to use;
- use the service to harass, defraud or deceive others, or to mislead anyone about the origin of media;
- probe, scan or test the service's security, or interfere with or overload it;
- reverse engineer the service, or use results to train a competing detection system;
- access the service by automated means or share your account except as the plan allows.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
Plans, limits and billing
The Free plan has monthly limits on imports and scans, shown on our pricing page. DeepFakeGuard Pro is a paid subscription with higher monthly limits and additional features, currently $20 USD per month. Limits reset monthly, and deleting media does not restore usage.
Paid plans are sold by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's checkout buyer terms. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. Prices may change with advance notice, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.

Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or reliance on its results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you have not paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
Termination
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
